Juan Luis

Juan Luis Guerra is an internationally recognized Dominican musician, singer-songwriter, and producer. From a young age, he showed an interest in music and the guitar, leading him to study at the National Conservatory of Music in Santo Domingo and later at Berklee College of Music in Boston. His career took off with the album “Soplando” (1984), where he fused traditional merengue with jazz. In 1989, he released “Ojalá que Llueva Café,” marking his international consecration with tracks like the album’s title song and “Visa para un Sueño.” In 1990, he presented “Bachata Rosa,” his most successful album to date, which sold over nine million copies and earned him his first GRAMMY. Guerra is also known for his album “Areíto” (1992), addressing social issues and featuring collaborations with musicians from the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. His versatility and social commitment have made him a prominent figure in Latin music.

Myke Towers

Born in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Myke Towers, whose real name is Michael Torres, is a Puerto Rican rapper and composer born on January 15, 1994. Since his teenage years, Myke Towers has been involved in the underground rap scene in Puerto Rico under the name Mike Towers, and his first compositions and freestyles were published on his SoundCloud account. He gained recognition in 2014 with songs such as “Día de cobro”, “Por Mí”, “Es Normal”, and “En los Bloques”. He also gained attention in the urban music scene with his freestyle “La Nueva Droga” and his cover of the original song “0 to 100” by Drake. In 2016, he released his first album project, the mixtape “El final del principio”, which gained recognition and reached the top of the iTunes chart. In 2018, he achieved success with tracks like “No Pensarte” featuring Juhn and “Pa La Pared” featuring Darell, in addition to collaborating on hits such as “Darte” and “La forma en que me miras”. In 2020, he released his second studio album, “Easy Money Baby”, and continued to release hit singles and collaborate with various artists. In 2021, he released his album “LYKE MIKE”, and continued to engage in successful collaborations. In 2023, he released “LA VIDA ES UNA”.

Bad Gyal

Bad Gyal is one of the most worthy proposals of the international music scene. The artist continues to conquer the music industry after releasing some of the most iconic tracks in recent years. Songs like Fiebre, Alocao, Zorra or Nueva York (Tot*) are part of the long list of hits by the artist who continues to earn certifications after receiving 16 Platinum Albums and 3 Gold Albums. Her first two mixtapes, Slow Wine and Wordwide Angel -self-released-, gained recognition from big music media outlets such as Pitchfork, The Fader, Fact Magazine or The Guardian. In 2021 Bad Gyal released her EP Warm Up (Interscope/Aftercluv), which debuted at the top 10 of Spotify’s Global Album Chart and already accumulates more than 100 million streams on platforms. Warm up also featured artists like Rauw Alejandro, Rema, Khea or Juanka.

Darell

Darell Castro, known as Darell, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter of urban music. He was born on January 5, 1990, in Puerto Rico and gained prominence in the music scene as part of Real G4 Life, a label founded by urban exponent Ñengo Flow. His career took off with his first hit, “Ninguno Se Monta,” which earned him recognition in the genre. In 2016, he released his debut album “La Verdadera Vuelta,” which blends rhythms such as Trap and Reggaetón, including hits like “La Brega” and “Blanco.” Darell has collaborated with renowned artists such as Bad Bunny and Ozuna on hits like “Te boté” and “Asesina,” and released “Si Tú Quieres” alongside Nio García, Casper Mágico, Bad Bunny, Nicky Jam, and Ozuna.

In 2023, he released one of his biggest hits, called “Lollipop,” which he remixed in 2024 alongside Ozuna and Maluma. His talent and versatility have solidified him as a prominent figure in contemporary urban music.

Rochy

Aderly Ramírez Oviedo, known as Rochy RD, is a Dominican rapper specializing in trap, rap, and dembow. He has collaborated with international artists such as Myke Towers, Anuel AA, Nicki Nicole, and Ozuna.

He was born on August 25, 1991, in Los Frailes, Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.

In 2018, he rose to fame with the single “Soy Un Infeliz”, which now has over 80 million views on YouTube. Before this, he uploaded videos of street freestyle in the Dominican Republic and other countries.

In 2020, he released “Ella no es tuya” alongside Myke Towers and Nicki Nicole, earning 1 gold record and 3 platinum records.

In 2021, he released “Alta Gama Remix” with Ozuna. In 2022, he collaborated with Anuel AA on “Los Iluminaty”.

Gente de zona

Gente de Zona is a Cuban reggaeton group founded by Alexander Delgado in 2000. The group blends reggaeton rhythms with more traditional forms of Cuban music.

Gente de Zona achieved their first major international success through their collaboration with Descemer Bueno and Enrique Iglesias in 2014 with “Bailando”. The song won three Latin Grammy Awards and gained international attention. Other major hits in 2015 included “Piensas (Dile La Verdad)” featuring Cuban-American Pitbull and “La gozadera” featuring Marc Anthony.

Vicente García

Vicente García was born on March 30, 1983, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. At the age of 12, he began composing songs on the guitar and formed rock bands at 16, performing music by Rage Against The Machine, Deftones, and Tool, among others.

In 2002, he founded the funk and soul band “Calor Urbano,” gaining recognition in his country. In 2008, Juan Luis Guerra invited him to join the “La Travesía” tour, which inspired him to focus on bachata and pursue a solo career.

During 2010, Vicente toured several countries and joined Juan Luis Guerra on the “A Son De Guerra” tour and Maná on the “Drama y Luz” tour.

In 2011, he released his debut album “Melodrama” with EMI, featuring hits like “Cómo Has Logrado,” “Poquito a Poquito” with Ximena Sariñana, and “Mi Balcón” with Cultura Profética.

In 2016, he released his second album “A la Mar,” produced by Eduardo Cabra (Visitante of Calle 13), showcasing his musical versatility.

In 2017, Vicente García won three Latin Grammy®️ awards and solidified his position as a prominent Latin artist in genres like bachata, bolero, and chachachá.

Papera

Christian Abreu, better known by his artistic name “Papera,” is a prominent influencer, urban artist, and nightclub host in the Dominican Republic. Born and raised in Santo Domingo, he has established himself as a central figure in the country’s nightlife and entertainment scene.

Papera is known for his carefree lifestyle, often accompanied by several glasses of rum, and his infectious happiness, which has made him a popular figure in his country. Although he initially ventured into urban music with the release of some songs, his true fame was solidified as a social media influencer, where he has built a strong following.

One of his major successes was in dembow tracks like “En Blusa” and “Tatara” featuring Lomiel, which propelled him to fame in the Dominican music scene.
